#29 060 Lima
A coal fired steam locomotive
No 29 is a 0-6-0 switch engine built in Lima, OH in 1944 for the US Army as #4047. It is coal fired and weights 77 tons. She went from the Army in 1947 to the Bay Terminal Railroad in Toledo, OH as #111. Then in 1955 after a short stint with the Iron and Steel to the Duluth and Northeastern in Minnesota in 1956 where she became number 29 and retired from service in 1965. Then sold to Earl Grace in 1970 before sold to Prairie Village in 1976. (details)
After 12 years and much needed work on the firebox and grates, #29 run was able to run during the 2013 Jamboree under its own power.

Work on #29's own steam driven compressor was completed in the spring of 2014.
